#Activity and Notifications

LumiFrame keeps you updated on everything that matters — new uploads from family, frame status changes, album invitations, and more. Here's how the activity feed and notification system work.

#Your activity feed

The activity feed is your real-time view of what's happening across your LumiFrame world.

Tap Activity in the bottom navigation (or the bell icon at the top) to see:

Media updates — When someone adds photos or videos to a shared album.
Collaboration events — When someone joins an album, accepts an invite, or changes their role.
Frame updates — When a frame comes online, goes offline, or encounters an issue.
Engagement — Appreciation reactions and comments on shared media.

Tap any activity item to jump straight to the relevant album, frame, or media.

#Your notifications

Notifications appear both in the app and as push notifications on your device.

To see all notifications:

Tap the bell icon at the top of your home screen.
Unread notifications appear highlighted.
Tap a notification to open the related content.
Swipe left on a notification to dismiss it, or use Clear All to start fresh.

#Customising what you get notified about

Not every update needs a notification. You can choose exactly what you hear about:

Go to Settings → Notification Settings.
Use the toggles to turn categories on or off.

You can control notifications for:

Frame alerts — Battery warnings, frame going offline, slideshow stops.
Social & engagement — When someone reacts to or comments on your photos.
Collaboration — Album invitations, new members, role changes.
Security — Sign-ins from new devices, password changes.
System — Important announcements and app updates.

#If notifications aren't arriving

Go to Settings → Notification Settings.
Check that push notifications are enabled for LumiFrame in your device's Settings app.
Tap Test Notification to send a test push and confirm delivery is working.
Tap Refresh to re-register the device with the notification service.
